Stories can sell for as little as £100 or as much as £10,000. As a rule of thumb, the bigger the wow, shock or 'Oh My God!' factor, the bigger the fee!

The next step - if you do decide to sell your story - is for us to contact magazines and newspapers on your behalf. Once we have established who is willing to pay the most money for your story we will put the offer to you. Should you accept, then all parties will be expected to sign a legally binding contract, ensuring that you receive payment for exclusive use of your story. At this stage we may require proof that your story is true.

Details of payment will appear in your contract, but it will usually be made by cheque or money transfer approximately 4 weeks after your story has been published.
